Michelle is a DC based freelance makeup artist with over 5 years professional experience in the health and beauty industries. A physician assistant and a self taught artist, her passion for makeup long precedes her profession as the love for makeup and all things beauty began at a young age. Her innate artistry and broad range of talent has helped her to master a wide range of professional makeup artistry skills including print, video, fashion, & alternative makeup.
With a fun personality that yields an open book of creativity, she is a perfectionist at her craft and is known for her canvas - the face and body, to be a flawless work of art. She has assisted well known professional makeup artists: Abrilla Mackey and Ivory Perkins (Lady Like Makeup Artistry) and has done countless fashion shows including Fall 2010 Fashion Week “Sexy MF.” With her impeccable eye to enhancing ones intrinsic beauty, Michelle truly believes makeup is art and your face is a blank canvas.
